The influx of players during Saturday’s big live-event (which ran three times over the course of the day) led to a number of technical issues, causing Epic to bring down various game modes including Save The World in order to stabilize performance. The three new games- LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival-will all kick off after the start of the new season next week. You should be able to install the update by the time you wake up in the morning. There’s not an exact time for the new season to go live, but expect it sometime early morning on Sunday, December 3rd. Typically these big seasonal updates take a few hours, and this one might take a bit longer given it’s a brand new Chapter as well, with a whole new map and more. Server downtime kicks off at 11:30 pm ET / 8:30 pm PT. Servers will be going down later so that Epic can push the update.
